"I'm Probably Lost" Unveiled

  • The German edition of Sara Salar's "I'm Probably Lost" was unveiled at Frankfurt Book Fair on Thursday at Iran's stand. Gazelle Literary Agency hosted the book presentation of Sara Salar's German edition for"I'm Probably Lost" at Frankfurt Book Fair on Thursday, October 9th.

    “I’m Probably Lost” is Sara Salar’s first novel, which is a courageous attempt to portray the life of a middle-aged well-to-do woman in Tehran who has lost touch with her feelings, identity and life goals. The German edition has been published by Kirchheim Verlag and translated by Jutta Himmelreich. Kirchheim Verlag’s director, Mr. Peter Kirchheim said: “This is the first Persian title that we’ve published. I’m personally a big fan of Iran’s literature. The reason why I decided to publish this book, is my interest to introduce the new and modern Iran and its current culture to Germans.”
