Reza Zangiabadi

Reza Zangi-Abadi was born in 1968 in Kerman, Iran. He is an author and filmmaker currently living in Iran and is editor in chief of the independent literary quarterly, Khanesh. Reza is best known for writing poignant social and domestic violence scenes. Partridge Hunt is Zangi-Abadi’s latest published work which was nominated for the 10th Golshiri Literary Award. This work was preceded by two short story collections, Journey to the Other Side and The Time of Hogs, which were published in 1998 and 2002, respectively. Before the New Year, from the collection The Time of Hogs was also nominated for the 3rd Golshiri Literary Award.
